Meet the creator of Lumi

Rebecca, founder of Lumi Home Design, is a former high school and college educator turned interior decorator and organizer with a passion for creating spaces that embody beauty, balance and purpose. Since relocating from the Chicago area to the Pacific Northwest in 2019, she has been deeply inspired by the region’s serene landscapes, slower pace of life and commitment to intentional living.

Rebecca’s design philosophy is rooted in Scandinavian principles of warmth, functionality and sustainability and she believes in designing homes which feel grounded, affordable and authentically personal. Each Lumi Home Design project reflects a harmony between beauty and practicality, inviting a calmer, more eco-friendly way of living.
